We left Omaha on Monday, April 10 for Phoenix with a stop in Colorado. We were able to stay in Colorado for 2 nights to visit with Rick's sister, Alyce. We had a great time with Alyce. It would be great if we lived closer to her, she is so much fun to be around.
Our trip to Colorado seemed to go by quickly. We both drove our vehicles with Uhaul trailers attached. My poor little Camry really had it's power and strength tested. At times I would have the gas pedal pushed all the way to the floor and I couldn't get the car to go over 65 mph. But we made it safely...that's all that matters.
While in Colorado we visited we visited Pueblo's River Walk. It's a very nice area with a stream of water, small waterfall and some interesting artwork. It was nice to walk around since we had been in the car almost the entire previous day.
Next...Colorado to Flagstaff.
